The Consult

We begin our journey together with a phone call when I'll explain my process and my pricing. After that you'll get a booking link and your session will be reserved.

About 2 weeks prior to your session, we’ll have a brief phone consultation so I can get to know you and your “must have” shots for our session. We’ll find out what your goal is for the session and just make sure we’re on the same page. During that time, you can also let me know about the members of your family and how everyone responds to each other and ask any questions you may have about clothings choices.

The Shoot

We will meet at the location we decided on during our consult. I’ll help y’all ease in to posing. We’ll do some age appropriate play to create those authentic smiles and laughter. Everything should take us about an hour.

The Reveal

About two weeks after your sesh, you will receive an email letting you know the slideshow of your gallery is ready to view. The slideshow serves as your preview to help you make a decision about which Collection you’d like to purchase. You will have 24 hours to watch that slideshow as many times as you like before it times out. Then, when you are ready, your gallery will be open for a full month during which you can take your time downloading your digital images and deciding how you want to use your print credit in my online store.

I adore photographing families of all ages outdoors in all of the beautiful locations we have in Fort Worth. My goal is to make sure that even Dads and tween boys are super comfortable with me in the first minutes of meeting and by the end, everyone will feel like we’ve been lifelong friends. I love creating ways for families of all ages to play together and laugh with each other. Everyone should feel happy and have had fun by the time we’re finished, and you’ll have great photos that record all of this season of life.

I will be shooting very few family sessions, so contact me as soon as possible to reserve one of those sessions. We will work together to find the date that works best for both of us. I will be holding mini sessions two Sundays in October and then again during Thanksgiving break for families with returning college students. I have several Pinterest boards I can refer you to for inspiration. Mostly, I want you to wear what you feel most confident in. We can discuss all of this during our consultation. When I am doing this for my own family, I like to start with one outfit, usually mine or my daughter’s, and build my other family members outfits around that original outfit. Let's chat! I love helping with this!
The amount of images can vary from shoot to shoot, but in general, the final image count could be anywhere from 30-50 images per session.
Yes, a certain number of digital images are offered in every collection available.
The earlier the better for best date choice! I often book out months in advance and I'd hate to miss the opportunity to work with you! Summer sessions open by March for Seniors.
